Chris Whitsett


Chris Whitsett was born in Columbia, Tennessee and raised on a farm in Marshall Co., Tennessee. He graduated from UT-Chattanooga with a BA and MA in Literature. He began his acting career in theatre appearing in such plays as "Mister Roberts," "Getting Out," and "The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde." He now concentrates on film and commercial work. He has appeared in such feature films as "Bernee," "Dark Infestation," "Ought," and "Scream Farm." He has also appeared in a number of commercials including those for Toot’s Restaurant and Vista Inn & Suites. He is currently filming the feature "The Last Midnight Picture Show" and just completed his first lead role in the film "Glass." When not acting, Chris spends his time studying martial arts, traveling, and writing screenplays. He is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of a film like "The Road Home" because it was written, set, and filmed in his home state of Tennessee.
